Remembrance CornerSet into the wall of the church facing the south altar, this spot provides a quiet, peaceful place for thankful reflection on all the sacrifices of those commemorated here. The memorial was commissioned in 1920, paid for by public subscription and dedicated on St George's Day 1921. The names of those who fell in the Second World War were inscribed on the lower plaque thanks to Capt. Partridge, an Adderbury resident.
Prayer Creator God we remember those who rest in you. May those who have served you here on earth now reign with you in glory. Amen. |
