The Pulpit

Standing at the side of the screen arch leading to the chancel, gracing the thresholds of the thirteenth century transepts. From here the Word goes forth, in scripture and sermon, to comfort and inspire God's people in this place.

Jesus Christ, son of God, you taught "blessed are the peacemakers" and brought tidings of great joy. Make us your disciples in the active pursuit of the peace of God in this world. Amen.
