Adderbury Ensemble & Music In Adderbury
Chris Windass founded the Music in Adderbury series in 1986. His lifelong passion for chamber music led him to form his own group, the Adderbury Ensemble, and the Music in Adderbury series began as a way to bring the group’s music to audiences in his home village. As well as innumerable concerts from the Adderbury Ensemble, the Adderbury and Deddington churches have witnessed performances from many other brilliant musicians and chamber ensembles from the UK and overseas.

Church Organ
Organ music has been an important part of life at the church since the first organ was installed in 1849. A new organ was put in place in 1877 and is still used today. The organ used to be played by paid organists who in most cases where the choirmasters too. Since the 1970s the organ has been played by a series of volunteers who alternate on a rota.
