We are delighted that the Heritage Lottery Fund has agreed to largely fund urgent work on the church tower. FOSMA continue to work hard to show our support as a community for this project with assistance from the grants that the PCC has in hand.
.For details of the latest work carried out to date and to find out what work will be happening next please take a look at the Tower project display in church. The completion date for the project has now been moved to mid March due to various issues including stone ordering and delivery problems because of the Christmas break. The Stone Edge team are currently working hard on the vital stonework around the parapet and we can look forward to the return and refitting of the cleaned and restored clock faces and the arrival of the newly carved gargoyles which will hopefully be on show in church before they are placed on the tower - look out for these exciting moments!
